After I visited Vodafone for work, I walked around the Amsterdam IJ and made some photos. I did not have a tripod and it was during daytime, so the light was nothing special. Surprisingly, the shot I made of the houseboats there became my most popular photo on 500px.

I still wonder what makes this shot so special. I post processed it using HDR which gives a cool effect. But I also feel it is a little bit overprocessed. Clearly the photography community has a different opinion. I’ll also post an unprocessed version here, for comparison.
