The Rottemeren are just 15 minutes drive from my home. The area consists of a few lakes that are connected by the river Rotte. There is also a mill there, known as the “Eendrachtsmolen”.

When we parked our car, we discovered that the mill is on the other side of the lake. To reach it, we had to walk around it, which was a nice but long walk. But in the end, it was worth it. The pictures of the mill, with the traditional Dutch surroundings, are very nice and there is a typical waterlock nearby. The only minor drawback of the location are the countless signs everywhere.
