The Julian Alps in Slovenia are magnificent. We visited Triglav National Park. There are some exceptional waterfalls here that each have their own unique beauty.

Places we visited are Slap Peričnik, Slap Savica, Slap Peračica, Slap Boka, Slap Kozjak and Slap Grmečica. Each site was special in its own way. We were not in the right season though. It was quite hot and the waterfalls were smaller than in other times of the year.

If we return to Slovenia, we would pick spring for example, when melting snow from the mountains will cause the waterfalls to be much bigger. But even now it was fantastic to visit some of these remarkable places.
