I visited Sardinia for a short holiday and used the opportunity to photograph its beautiful shorelines.
One of the most enchanting places I found in South-Sardinia in the province of Cagliari is called Capo Spartivento. There is a lighthouse there (Faro Capo Spartivento) dating back to 1866. The water is crystal clear and the rocky bay is just stunningly beautiful.
When I arrived on the spot there was a boat there with people snorkling, so I had to wait quite a while in the burning sun to be able to take shots without the boat.
I did not use a filter, but I simulated the long exposures with the excellent Sony Smooth Reflections app. This way I could shoot up to 128 photos that compose a single image, smoothing the water.
Enjoy these photos. I’ll post more of my trip to Sardinia in the coming weeks.
