They are everywhere in Slovenia’s beautiful countryside: small white churches. Often built on hilltops, they are a beautiful part of the landscape.

When we visited Slovenia, we made sure to visit as many of these picturesque churches as we could. We visited sites like Sveti Tomaž, Sveti Jacob, Sv. Peter nad Begunjami and St. Primoz. And of course Bled.

But not only did we visit well known locations, but sometimes we stopped at a church along the road, without even knowing its name.
