The Noord-AA, or Zoetermeer lake, is the primary recreation area of the city. It is a man-made lake with depths of up to 30 meters. It is also a very nice place to be at sunset and easy to reach.

When I saw the sky turn bright red, I drove to the lake to take a few photos. I visited some spots I had used before to get the best effect possible with the amazing sky of that day. In post production the challenge was to make it look natural, because the red color is so powerful that enhancing it did not make the photo better.
