I usually don’t photograph in the morning, but this time I made an exception. We drove to the Rottemeren, which is only 15 minutes from my home. It was a nice foggy morning. I arrived on the spot a little late. The sun was already above the horizon. But even so, the fog added a nice mood to the photos. Added benefit of the fog is that it hides some distracting elements. For example the lonely tree at the other side of the lake is not that lonely. The fog hides some ugly appartment buildings that are a little bit further away.
